Literacy Specialist and Coach at Albion and Clinton Elementary schools, working mostly with teachers and students in grades 3-6.  Started my career as a special education teacher, taught pre-first and fifth grade as a classroom teacher, and am a trained reading Reading Recovery specialist.  

I have one son, Scott (21) and a husband, Marshall.  We are currently owned by 2 cats, Niko and Cree.  

I have an older sister, Cheryl, and a younger sister, Crystal.  They are my closest friends. Both my parents are now gone and I lost an older brother in 2002.  

At 55, I still love to learn and find that the dynamics of group process and discussion recharge my batteries.
