Andrew Gray
"...Mr. Gray is part of the Army.
He is an observer, he observes things such as battles and important
people. If he's assigned to look for someone he might fly around in the
plane and try to find the person in the area that he's been assigned to
look in....He is also a protector that is designated to protect
civilians and especially children. Each protectors is assigned a group
of four or five kids and they have to protect them from people that may
want to hurt the kids or kill them....
...From talking to Mr. Gray, I learned
that war isn't fun! I also learned that we should be thankful for the
rights and privileges that we have. This was a very valuable
experience, and I am thankful for it..." ~ Z. Stevens
"...He was 19 when he first
joined the military.... Mr. Gray enlisted because he wanted to protect
his country....Mr. Gray was proud of himself and others were proud
too....I learned that you can be in the war and still have fun, but
that it is not a game. I loved the interview because I learned
something I thought I would never learn....I learned that we are doing
the best we can do to fix what is damaged and help the
people...." ~ T. Metcalf
