Technology Plan

MSAD #49 will continue to encourage the use of the ATM facilities for students, teachers, and community members. Our goal is to provide users with the training to operate and communicate with schools and other facilities throughout the US. The district has also added Moodle to allow for classes to go online end extend the classroom outside of the school day. The district will also provide access to Virtual High School. Virtual High School is an online classroom in which students may take course that are not offered within the district. The district will also be applying for RUS grants to provide mobile video conferencing equipment for each school. Currently Benton Elementary has received funding for the RUS grant and will be receiving the equipment in the near future. MSAD #49 will also continue to review new technologies when available to continue to help improve learning through new technologies.
