Technology Plan

Across the District, consistent accessibility will be achieved by updating computers in the instructional labs and maintaining existing technology equipment. We also need to increase the use of technology equipment in the classrooms by providing our educators with state-of-the-art computer equipment and peripheral equipment.

The district will provide secure email for all students through-out the district. Email will allow students to communicate with teachers from anywhere internet access is available.

Students in the 7th and 8th grades have been provided laptops due to the MLTI Project and are available to be taken home with parent’s permission.

The district also plans to institute a new Student Information System (Infinite Campus) that will allow parents better access to student information such as student grades, assessment scores, and attendance.
