Emily Hachey

Hi! My name is Emily Hachey and I am a fifth grade teacher at Benton Elementary School. This is my second year teaching at Benton. I graduated from WGU in May 2011. I am also a graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington. I graduated from UMF in 1994 with a Bachelors degree in Psychology. I guess you could say that I am beginning my second career. I fell in love with teaching when I worked as an ed. tech. for the district tutoring English Language Learners. I have three children. My two boys attend Benton and my daughter will be attending The University of Vermont. I love to be outside in any type of weather. My family is very active as we hike, swim, play sports (sometimes in the backyard), snowshoe and go tubing.
